Fr Peter writes   ...well, Lent will soon be upon us and there will be a number of things happening - a weekly prayer group, a Lenten appeal AND an early workers Mass each morning Monday to Thursday - SO, a chance to “limber up” spiritually in preparation for the great week of Passion and Resurrection !

           Death and resurrection are a part of all of our lives but sometimes we fall into the trap of  thinking too much of the “deaths” and not enough of the “resurrections”.  The presence of Christ among us IS the resurrection - so I hope that as many of us as possible will take part in the Deanery “40 hours” of prayers before the Blessed Sacrament which is

going on this week in the Parish Churches of the Deanery.
