Fr Peter writes ...now comes the time of testing - are we ready to make that extra effort - prayer, almsgiving and penance - to prepare ourselves for the great Feast of Easter ? Do we want to grow in our understanding our ourselves and of God’s love and mercy ? These are some of the things that Lent is about and it begins this coming week.
Ash Wednesday Masses are listed below, if you want to come to the Canary Wharf one you have to register on the internet - www.cwcc.org.uk or, if you don’t have access, ring the Parish Office and they’ll do it for you - the Mass, with Archbishop Vincent, will be in the Barclay’s Tower, 1 Churchill Place. There’s also a morning Mass at Limehouse and an evening one at Millwall.
